Amman, Jordan National Museum "Newcimed | New Cities of Mediterranean Sea Basin".
This work is the result of an assignment for New Cities of the Mediterranean Sea basin, a stantard project of ENPI CBC MED programme funded by European Union under the Joint Managing Authority Autonomous Region of Sardinia.
The Newcimed project focuses on enhancing the cultural heritage and the territorial planning capacities of the “New Cities” with a holistic, systematic and strategic multisectoral planning.
The so-called “New Towns” is a urban phenomenon which is diffused in the Mediterranean area. A new town is a city or community that was carefully planned from its inception and is typically constructed in a previously undeveloped area.
Six photographers have been called to document Al Tafila area in Jordan.
The entire work was exhibited in December 2013 in the Jordan Museum of Amman.
